PART II SHIRDI SAIBABA SAYS... TECHNOLOGY GRIND?

The Grinding also contained a spiritual and philosophical message. He was helping grind the sins of the people. He was helping grind the illness and afflictions. The two stones of his mill were karma (lower wheel) and bakthi (upper disc):the handle was meditation. The force was spiritual strength. In this mill all desires, wants, avgunas (avarices) and ahankar (ego) were put for grinding into the fine powder of enlightenment. Such were the ways of baba...after reading this I very badly wanted to see the grinding mill...

I am searching for the grinder.....nowadays grinders do not have an upper wheel and a lower disc nor a handle to hold and nobody takes effort to grind all menu driven...and switching the power on ,the electric flows it does the job on a mixie or a grinder .

How come the next generation will perceive his message..... I was into the deep thought suddenly I heard a sound from my computer.....may be some of my friends....I rushed to my monitor and there he is my saibaba for chat....

Saibaba: child have you got the idea of a grinder?

Me:hii....How do you know that sai?

Saibaba: I know.....you people use so many technologies without even knowing the reason behind or the person behind

Me: ya I do that....I did not answer....

Saibaba: even that engine churns all the available information databases searches and brings in the very needy one to your query isn’t?

Me: ya...true...but sai you are amazing and up-to-date in technologies...too. Amazing...

Saibaba: My child all the technologies Nanotechnology ,Biotechnology, or Information technology are all for what

Me: they are for the advancement of knowledge....and to become intelleigent.

Saibaba: When intelligence matures and lodges securely in the mind it becomes wisdom. When wisdom is integrated with life and issues out in action it becomes bakthi...knowledge when it becomes fully matured it is bakthi. If it does not get transformed into bakthi such knowledge is useless tinsel to believe that gnana and bakthi (knowledge and devotion) are different from each other is ignorance.....

Saibaba:life is a tripod it has three legs athma manas and budhi....

Saibaba: You people spend more time on budhi(knowledge) front ....some on manas (mind) front and very less towards athma front...all the three legs should equally balance for a perfect life...for which I coined so much of step by step method like aarthi....doing good, etc and also performing miracles to make you children for your own good. However fast the world grows...(The world is not as same as that world which you sleep before and after). That fast is advancements...

It was the year 1910. Hemadpant came to shirdi. One day after washing his face, Baba sat in Dwarakmai and started grinding wheat furiously. The villagers enquired why but he did not reply...He kept at it. Until some women folk decided to help him in his chore. They too wondered why Baba was grinding wheat because he never cooked, but begged alms for food, and did not need such huge quantity anyway. He had never done the grinding before. So all who were nearby were looking with wonders at this. Four bold women went inside the mosque and requested Baba to sit aside, took the grinding stone and started grinding. Though Baba got angry at this he kept quite, seeing their affection for him. On completion of the grinding work, the ladies divided the flour into four parts and wanted to take it for themselves. Baba watching them calmly till then got angry and scolded them.” Oh ladies, are you crazy? Are you thinking this flour is your property to take it? I never took any wheat from you. Then why are you taking this flour?”...He cooled down after a while and said politely,” It is alright take the flour and sprinkle it on the boundaries of this village.” The ladies bowed their heads and asked for mercy. After touching Baba’s feet, they went quickly and sprinkled the flour on the boundaries of the village. The villagers told Hemadpant that there was cholera in the village, and only to eradicate Baba would have done all this. Hemadpant did not understand the relationship between cholera and the wheat flour, but the epidemic in the village gradually subsidized. Then Hemadpant concluded that what Baba ground that day was not wheat, but the cholera epidemic. Which he had sent outside the boundaries of the village, so that whole village gets rid of this disease. Hemadpant bowed his head to show respect to SaiBaba, he was so impressed by the greatness of Baba and his Miracles that later he decided to write a book about him to pay his tribute to this great saint....The result is Sri sai satcharita
